Stupid is as Stupid Does

The world today is often driven by hypocrisy and double standards. Many prefer to blame others instead of reflecting on their role in perpetuating these issues or knowingly try to have it both ways. Either approach stems from ignorance, as their ego dominates their thinking.

“It’s not me, it’s you.”

The solution is straightforward: if everyone took the time to reflect on their complicity, the world would not perpetuate so much hate. Naivety is often used as an excuse, and ignorance is a privilege—both are the easy way out. What’s genuinely challenging is holding yourself accountable. Accountability demands self-evaluation; while it can be uncomfortable, it is essential. Unless you are a narcissist, you possess the ability to engage in honest self-reflection. But, hey, stupid is as stupid does, I guess.
